What is Counselling and how can it help?

Counselling can help you work through the challenges and struggles of life. 

It can help you find understanding as to why you behave or react in the way that you do and, if this is impacting you in a negative way, create a different way of behaving.

A lot of how we behave is out of our awareness, how we communicate is on automatic pilot and we do what we do because that's what we have always done and thats what we learnt.

Working with you can help identify patterns of behaviour that are on repeat and that are having a negative impact on your life.

  • Identify if your past is affecting how you live your life in the present
  • How changing the way you react to a situation can bring about a different outcome. 

By sharing how you think and feel can give some respite to the busy mind and the unhelpful thought spirals ,  allowing time to understand what is going on for you without being bombarded with internal judgements and expectations of how you "should feel" and what you "must do".
